This single ring box is made of maple. The wings of the dragonfly are
poplar and the body and twig the dragonfly is sitting on are walnut.

Single ring box made of a very light colored cherry. The background
behind the dragonfly is maple burl and the body of the dragonfly is walnut.
There are small yellow flecks at the tips of the wings. Hand-rubbed Danish

This picture shows what most of the engagement ring boxes look like inside. The slit for the ring is at an angle so that the stone lies slightly forward.
The lining can be red, dark blue, green or black velvet. Satin does not make as nice an insert as velvet but if you specifically want white or cream satin I can make the insert for you.
