#355 Running Horses
3" x 2.5" mahogany box with a madrone burl background behind the horses.  The dark horse is walnut with a black mane and tail and the white horse is koto with a mother of pears mane and tail.

Spalted Maple hexagonal box with Maple Pommel, Cherry and Redwood veneer creating the design on the lid.

This box depicts the campanile at Iowa State University.  The wood species are fiddleback Mahogany, Pearwood, Satinwood and Olive Ash for the background.

This hexagonal Mahogany box has Satinwood and Poplar letters with a pretty Redwood burl background.

#124 ALYS
This ebony cube holds a single ring.  The A is from the same veneer as the background, just the grain runs perpendicular to the background.  This makes it very subtle.  The LYS are done in a dark grey veneer.

This single engagement ring box is made of Walnut with a Maple magnolia flower on the lid.  Hand-rubbed Danish oil finish.

Mike and Katie on the beach at Emerald Isle, NC, after Mike proposed.  She said "Yes".  December 2003.

#75 Korean Infinite Love
The box is made of Canarywood with Koto and Madrone Burl veneer on the lid.  The Korean lettering means "Love" with the Infinity symbol subtly inlaid behind it.

This box is made of ebony.  The moon is dyed veneer and the stars are maple.
