This class covers veneer selection, patterns, cutting techniques, glue-up options, inlaying, sanding and finishing.  On Saturday you will get hands-on experience making a marquetry panel and gluing it to a substrate.
Day two will start with sanding and finishing the panel.  The rest of the day will be spent doing a larger design with plenty of time to get a feel for doing marquetry with your instructor at your side.  You will leave with one finished marquetry panel and the second well on its way to becoming a beautiful piece of art.
